Public Notice of Scanning, Computation, canvassing, and Certification of Election Returns for the May 21, 2024 General Primary/Nonpartisan Election
SCANNING OF ABSENTEE BALLOTS:
The Ware County Board of Elections will begin
scanning Absentee By-Mail ballots May 21, 2024,
Election Day, at 6 pm.
After Election Day any remaining absentee ballots and any provisional ballots cast in the May 21, 2024 General Primary/Nonpartisan Election will be scanned beginning at 5 pm on Friday, May 24, 2024.
EARLY COMPUTATION:
On Election Day, May 21, 2024, the Ware County Elections office will begin tabulating absentee ballots at 7 pm, at 408 Tebeau St, Waycross. Results will not be available until after 7 pm on Election Day.
CERTIFICATION:
Notice is hereby given that computation, canvassing, and certification of the returns of votes cast in the May 21, 2024, General Primary/Nonpartisan Election will take place in the Ware County Elections Office, on Friday, May 24, 2024, beginning at 5 pm.
All events are open to viewing by the public and will be conducted at the Elections office, 408 Tebeau St., Waycross.
