Notice is hereby given that, in accordance with O.C.G.A. 21-2-540, a special election shall be held in Ware County to fill the vacancy in the office of the County Commission, District 3.
The special election will be held on November 2, 2021.
Qualifying for the special election shall be held at the office of the Board of Elections and Registration, 408 Tebeau St, Waycross, Georgia, beginning at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, and ending at noon on Friday, August 20, 2021. The Qualifying fee shall be $144.00.
All persons who are not registered to vote and who
desire to register to vote in the special election may register to vote through the close of business day on October 4, 2021. Polls will be open from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm on election day.
Early voting will take place at the Elections office from
October 12th – October 29th, 7:30 am – 5:30 pm.
Mandatory Saturday Voting will be
October 16th and October 23rd, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
