NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Ware County Board of Elections and Registration voted on the City of Waycross Resolution No. 21-45. The Resolution designated the City election polling places. The Elections Board approved the plan to consolidate the City election polling places as follows:
The City of Waycross, District 3 voting precinct has been moved from the First Baptist Church, 702 Elizabeth St to the C. C. McCray City Auditorium, 865 Pendleton St, Waycross, Georgia; and
The City of Waycross, District 5 voting precinct has been moved from the Riverside Fire Station, 1700 Riverside Ave to Memorial Stadium, 1000 Memorial Drive.
This change is effective for the Municipal Election to be held on November 2, 2021. For your convenience, new precinct cards will be mailed to every elector. If you have any questions, please contact the Board of Elections and Registration office at 912-287-4363.
Notice of this change will be posted as required in O.C.G.A. 21-2-265 and new cards will be issued to the electors in accordance with O.C.G.A. 21-2-226(e).
